| description:

The source for the EPA Grants data is the EPA OARM grants datamart that gets pulled into the EPA Envirofacts data warehouse weekly. Grants records for 50 states and Puerto Rico were geocoded based on the mailing addresses using the EPA FRS geocoder to generate the latitude and longitude coordinates for each record. So two new data columns for latitude and longitude were added to the data. For the records other than 50 states and Puerto Rico, each ZIP code centroid was used as the location. International records were excluded.
