Service Description: The source for the historical EPA grants is the Integrated Grants Management System (IGMS). If a grant has an associated point location for place of performance (POP), then that point location is inserted into this layer. Only POP with an active status are used. If a grant has an associated polygon location for POP, then each polygon is assigned a centroid point location and inserted into this layer. If a grant covers more than one polygon(e.g. multiple counties), a centoid point location will be created for each polygon and inserted into this layer. Only POP with an active status are used. If a grant does not contain any POPs, the recepient address after being geocoded is used for the location.
