<div style='text-align:Left;font-size:12pt'><div><div><p><span>This data set includes the tribal areas for Alaska Native Allotments, Alaska Native Villages, Off-reservation Trust Lands, Oklahoma Tribal Statistical Areas, Virginia Federally Recognized Tribes, and American Indian Reservations. These tribal datasets were published on May 28, 2026. </span></p><p><span /></p><p><span>There is a new tribe called Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina that was federally recognized on January 31, 2026 by the Lumbee Fairness Act. However, it was not available in the Census boundaries data. The Census tribal boundaries data is updated every fall. </span></p><p><span /></p><p><span>Overall there were three updates to the American Indian Reservations, with one modification and two additions. Three new records and one update were added to the Off-Reservation Trust Lands. Two records were updated to the Oklahoma Tribal Statistical Areas (OTSA). For the Alaska Native</span></p><p><span>Villages and Virginia Federally Recognized Tribes, there were three attribute changes each, but no geometry changes.
